hey guys,

i have currently got the a10-5800k with the stock cooler. under load it gets very loud.

i was looking for a coler form the corsair H series, but only with a 120mm or 140mm radiator, the 240mm radiators wont fit in my case.
i was looking at the h60, h80i and the h90. are all of these compatible with fm2 and which one is the best for my situation?
i am not going to overclock anything, i just need stable temperatures and a silent PC.

my system:
cpu: a10-5800k with stock cooler
mobo: asus fm2a55m-le
case: bitfenix shadow

thanks in advance!

A Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo is not black, but will save you a lot of money. You can also find an H60 refurbished for around $30-$40, and that will be more than sufficient.
I would say out of the ones u listed the h80i as the thicker rad in a 120mm is prob better than a thinner 140mm, did u consider air cooling? u can get some pretty quiet 120mm tower coolers that perform around single rad liquid coolers

U could look at other thicker 120/140mm coolers from like thermaltake or cooler master and the zalman reserator 3 max is suppose to cool 400+ watt tdp cpus in a single 120mm rad but its $130. Thermaltake water 3.0 /pro come with push pull fans and a thick rad, for example, usually for better temps a thicker rad is better and noise a bigger fan but if u can cool more with the bigger rad the fan wont need to work as hard. I ran a Antec kuhler 620 and with the single fan on a h60 like rad, with a stock x6 1090t the fan ran quite loud and was a little warm then i would have liked.

have you got any good aircoolers in mind?
preferably with a black colourscheme if possible?

Xigmatek Dark Knight II, Phanteks tc12 dx, zalman cnps 9900 max, almost any tower cooler from noctua lol their fans are really higher performance and quiet. Enermax T40, U can find the 140mm phanteks ph tc14pe for around $65-80 which the bigger fan is good but its a huge heatsink lol make sure ur case can accommodate a big heatsink fan wat case do u have? A liquid cooler may be best if u have low clearance for tower height.

The dark knight II and phantek ones have a black heatsink but the phanteks normally have a white fan shroud, and the zalman has a black nickel plate but a red or blue led fan, and the enermax comes in a black heatsink as well

Just my thought, i wouldnt go for a low end closed loop coolers, they are not worth the money and usually run a little loud or warm, but just my experience with the kuhler 620. The hyper 212 evo is normally the best bang for u buck but if u wanna color coat, spend the extra $15 or so, the phanteks comes with push pull and the dark knight II has a ceramic coating on it, and well thats the main difference other than color from the 212 evo lol. Tek Syndicate on youtube did a review of the dark knight II and in push pull they said it performed on h100 levels, they also reviewed the black and white enermax t40.

I can personally vouch for the zalman cnps 9900max and phanteks tc12dx the zalman cools my oc'd x6 and the phanteks my friends 4.4ghz i7. All the ones i mentioned other than the 140mm phanteks and noctua will run about $50, and the hyper 212 evo about $30-35
