ASrock Mobo problem

I bought the ASrock 970 Extreme4 mobo i connected every but ATX 12v power connector, I turned on the mobo the cpu fan was working and Dr. Debug (LED) was flashing red, but when I inserted my usb it couldn't red the usb and when i try to connect internet cable it didn't work (no response at all)
is my mobo dying or do i need ATX 12V power connector connected

Does your system post? It sounds like it doesn't. It could either by your Mobo or PSU. I would suggest using a different powersupply to test your system and vice versa, using your PSU in another rig to see if it works. It's either one of those two components.
