Hello, i want to downgrade my laptop to windows 7 (i assume drivers won't cause problems, i used some windows utility software that advises what version to get and it said it was fine). But i'm having problems. I'm using a ripped version of windows installer from the pirate bay, however i do have a legal key i plan on using.
If i run the installer through my computer i can get everything working, choose a partition (i do not clean partitions because i'm afraid something won't work and it doesn't), windows copies files etc. and then, when it restarts it tells me that winload.efi is missing or corrupted. (then i reboot back into windows 8 and everything is fine)
If i try to change UEFI setings:
disable secure boot
change BIOS to UEFI & legacy
boot order to cd/dvd then hard drive
in hopes to boot from cd it doesn't reconise my cd as bootable at all.
What am i doing wrong?
