I have two hard drives in my computer and one has disappeared. 1st hard drive is WD Desktop Blue 1TB Windows/System disk, second is a 1TB Seagate 7200.11. The Seagate is missing, it has done this a couple times lately but the next time I booted up it always was there. Now it has gone missing and won't come back. It is a refurbished drive but I've heard that the 7200.11 has had some driver issues.
Seagate doesn't show up in Computer but there is a 'Disk 1 Removable (E: )" In Disk management.
It only shows up in the partition illustration area but with no partition itself, just a blank strip next to its name, and also doesn't show up in the drive volume list above. Recognized in device manager though.
Listed as "Capacity:0MB Unallocated space: 0MB Reserved space: 0MB", and windows seems to think it's a USB mass storage device.
I most definitely have media on it.
Please help me find my lost Seagate!
