I reformatted my netbook and had Microsoft Home and Student before this, I purchased the product key code from Student offers which sent the code via email. After formatting hard partion on Acer D250 Netbook, needed to enter product key code after 16 uses of word and all others, Excel and all others. But the problem here is cannot find the productr key code on netbook.
Because I want to restore backup done before the factory reset, I have word/excel and other and games I want to restore. But on this netbook I enter the Safe mode(F8) AND Enter hard drive and documents and setting but on Replace owner on subcontainers and objects. The instructions I have said to, 'On the Owner tab( third tab over) click replace owner tab, but the security message for this computer/netbook needs to go to a different top tab to gain control, As I have done this previously and lost instructions, difference between Microsoft 2007 and Vista and these particular instruction details from microsoft wikapedia
