I have just installed Windows 7 ultimate on an SSD, I also have a HDD for storage, when I'm in disk management there is a 'system reserved' partition on the HDD but not the SSD and I can't get rid of it, can I get rid of it?
The system reserved partition is used to store Windows' boot files (since 7 and later versions of Windows). Were both drives present when Windows was installed on the SSD? Its possible that Windows installed it's boot loader on the HDD even it's installed on the SSD - which would mean you couldn't boot without the HDD attached.
