I recently went from being wired to high-speed cable internet to a wireless connection. How do I configure my Belkin to work with this setup?

This really depends on what speeds you're getting through your Cable Connection.
If you're getting 100mbit+ I'd first make sure you have the right wireless hardware in your PC. Ethernet connections are faster than most wireless connections. If you hook something up like the ASUS AC66 Wireless Adapter (http://www.asus.com/Networking/PCEAC66/) you'll benefit from speeds of up to 1.3Gbits not only that but it's also using 5Ghz frequencies for less interruptions from other devices such as Microwaves and 2.4GHz Devices.

The other thing you need to make sure of is that your Modem/Router is fast enough. Obviously to take advantage of these speeds and durable connection you'd need a decent router. I'd also recommend ASUS products for this...

I'm assuming your Belkin is your wireless adapter, if this is the case, if you have any Belkin Software that came with the hardware, use that to connect to your wireless network, otherwise you just go into the network and sharing center of Control Panel to connect to the network.

But this all really depends on how fast your Cable Connection is, and how important it is to you. If you just want to have a basic wireless connection
configure the Modem/Router by simply enabling Wireless in the settings and encrypting your connection with a Password.

To get to your modems settings, go to http://192.168.2.1/ Login with the Username and Password and navigate to the connection settings. You may need to roam around there for a bit to find the settings, I'm not familiar with Belkin, Although I'm quite sure that the IP I’ve given you is correct.

Hope this helps. Your question was pretty plain so it's a little hard to understand exactly what you were asking.
