Which ones get a better connection external or internal?
Does having more antennas get a better connection?

No real difference inherently between internal and external wireless adapters, unless your case is made of concrete. Ones with antennas generally get better connection, but more antennas doesn't necessarily mean it will be better.

These are very broad questions. You should just compare two specific adapters, rather than generalities of wireless adapters.
