Hi, I have a Hewlett-Packard p7-1058uk desktop and below are some further information which may be useful:

Main Circuit Board:

Board: PEGATRON CORPORATION 2AB6 1.04
Serial Number: 109444210000387
Bus Clock: 100 megahertz
BIOS: AMI 7.15 10/13/2011

Processer:

3.40 gigahertz Intel Core i7-2600
256 kilobyte primary memory cache
1024 kilobyte secondary memory cache
8192 kilobyte tertiary memory cache
64-bit ready
Multi-core (4 total)
Hyper-threaded (8 total)

Operating System:

Windows 7 Home Premium (x64) Service Pack 1 (build 7601)

I am currently using the graphics card GTX 650 but I want to upgrade it to GTX 760. I got an ASUS GTX 760 from Amazon and I installed the new card with no trouble, but if I turn the power on I could only see the hp loading screen and it just freezes there, I then hear three beeps with long pauses followed by three rapids beeps before the monitor goes blank. I tried to find what the beep codes means but I couldn't find information about this combination. Can anyone please help me identify where the problem is? Thank you.

Also, your PSU may not have enough amps, or could be maxing out. After updating your mobo with the 650, see if you can check what PSU you have. You have a 300watt PSU that most likely cant run anything more than the 650 at least.

Did you get a new power supply to power the 760?

If you're running the OEM PSU from HP then that's no where near enough power for a 760

Thanks guys for the reply, sorry to not mention before but I have already changed my PSU to G7 Power extreme 780w when I bought the GTX 650 awhile ago. I also have already updated my bios to the newest version ( or at least that the newest version HP website can provide, maybe this is where the problem is?), I tried to install the 760 but failed after I already done those two. Any suggestion? Could anyone also tell me whether my motherboard is compatible with the GTX760? Thank you.

you have a pci-e x16 slot on your board....it should work, only unless hp puts a lock on changing any hardware (very unlikely). its still a good idea to have a word with hp customer care and verify the same.

good luck :)
