Swapping my motherboard and processor out of my computer, do i need to wipe my boot drive and re install my OS?

I'm going from an A10-6800k w/ an ASUS f2a85v-pro motherboard to a FX series processor w/ a Gigabyte 990fx motherboard.

Solution
It would be best to reinstall.
But you will need to reinstall all of your programs and games.
Another option that sometimes works is to uninstall all of the motherboard drivers. Chipset, sound, Ethernet, wireless ,video, etcccc.
put your windows cd in.
Shut down and swap out parts.
Upon boot go into bios and set it up.
upon reboot ,boot fron cd/dvd drive and do a repair install.
once you are in windows ,insert the motherboard cd and install all drivers.Reinstall video drivers.
