So, I am having the issues outlined in this thread related to the Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN wireless card:

I've confirmed the offending driver via BlueScreenView.
The suggested solution is to revert to an older driver (11.0.5.32) rather than the newest, Windows default (13.3.0.137). So, I downloaded the older driver. I've tried to install it straight away (running DPInst64 from the x64 folder as an administrator. The readme file says install IMDGInst, but I click run and nothing happens). When I click on properties in device manager, it still says 13.3.0.137. I've uninstalled the new driver through properties in device manager then installed the older driver. It says it has installed, but when I check it again in device manager it says 13.3.0.137. When I click on "update driver" and point the computer to the specific folder holding the older driver, I get a message that the best driver is already installed.
Any ideas how to get this older driver installed? I've gotten four BSOD's since installed 8.1 two days ago.
