Can't Connect to Internet Through any Application

Hi, I re-installed Windows 7 today and when everything was done I tried to get on Skype. It didn't work. I then proceeded to try other applications after downloading them fine from the internet and they also didn't work. I tried to disable my firewall and I have no anti-virus. Could anyone please help me out with this problem.

Also, I tried this on my other computer and all the applications seem to work fine. It's just this computer.

Did Windows 7 install a driver for your network device?

Control Panel > All... > Device Manager > Network Adapters

If not, you should be able to download a driver from another computer and put it on a usb stick, and install it that way.

I installed one already and I can connect fine through an internet browser on that computer. The problem comes when I try to connect through an application like Skype, Teamspeak, etc, and then it won't let me.

I seem to have solved the problem by installing brand new drivers and re-installing everything.
