Which provide better protection?LED monitor or LCD monitor?

hey guys....i just confused now,i want to buy new monitor and i just confused about what i should go for.......i confused because i just read article about led,that say led can damage our retina(http://www.livescience.com/31949-led-lights-eye-damage.html)...so i just want to confirm it.....is that true?is led not using UV filter inside?and which provide better protection for our eyes?lcd monitor or led monitor?

The article mentions UV LEDs. Any kind of UV lighting will damage your eyes. You will come into contact with far more radiation from the sun than you will from any LED. LEDs are relatively safe and are much easier on the eyes in my opinion than regular monitors.
