Hello everyone, im currently using windows xp sp2 (x32) and i was wondering if there would be any kind of problem since the bit platforms are different.
(i was also wondering if i could just install it using daemon tools since my dvd drive broke down some time ago, and i don't think i'm getting a new one any time soon.)

Solution
ckmu is correct, you will have to do a clean install to go from a 32 bit OS to a 64 bit OS. Yes, you can keep the stuff in drive E:
However, I would suggest you disconnect drive E: before you do the clean install of Windows and then reconnect the drive once Windows is installed.

By the way I don't have any Blank DVDs so I used a usb, and my form of method was just to click on it while my OS is on instead of the BiOs where I can't activate it for some reason. I also converted the IOS to USB I believe
