You need to give MUCH more info.
What are you copying? File size plays a role.
Are you making local copies or network/internet copies?
What are you copying to and from?(IE flash stick to camera card or hard drive to flash drive)
You cpu model may help since Intel has many 3.11 ghz processors. This is not 100% needed, but may help
