If so, upgrading to a 450 watt should be more than enough. As for the video card, either a 7790 for $125, or a 650ti boost for $140 will keep you within your budget. Check the dimensions to make sure it will fit in your smallish case. If enough is left over consider a SSD. A 120 - 200GB drive will do wonders.

8GB's will be plenty so you don't need to upgrade their. Also consider buying a new PSU because 300W maybe cutting it a bit short if you are planning to add in a dedicated video card. You mentioned that you wanted to play Minecraft, DayZ and Black Ops 2. These games are not very graphically intense so a low end card should do you just fine. I suggest getting something like a GTX 7770 or possibly a 7790 which will easily fit your budget. As for your CPU, your current one (Intel i3-3240) should be adequate for low end gaming but if you really want an upgrade then I recommend buying an i5 or one in AMD's FX series (Keep in mind, if you go for AMD you will be needing a new motherboard). Hopefully, buying all these things should leave you with a few bucks laying around. Hope I helped and have a great Christmas!
