Adding ram of another brand with same frequency.

i own a Dell Inspiron 15R (7520) Special Edition, it came with a single 4GB ram by hyundai electronics(SK Hynix) which is a 1600 MHz PC3-12800 stick and the CAS latency is - 11 11 11 28 @1.5V, because of a single slot left and a limit to not exceed the total ram by 8GB, i can only add a 4GB ram, the brand easily available are Transcend, Corsair and Ripjaw Gskill (should i buy ram with same latency or a ram with low latency? as i want to increase the performance as well ) any suggestions???
it will be helpful if you could specify the models.

It's generally never a good idea to use different sticks of memory especially different branded memory.
My suggestion would be to find a cheap 8gig kit and go with that.

Plenty will tell you to just get another stick, but if you look through the forums you'll find plenty of threads of people who have tried mixing DRAM with bad resullts - it's really hit or miss, they might play together or might not, chances are good they won't
