I recently purchased an Intel Core i5 3330 which is clocked at 3.00ghz and was wondering if it can be overclocked as it doesn't have a 'k' at the end of the model number. Although I don't plan to overclock immediately, i may do it in the future. Thanks for your help!

Solution
Well you could but it would be very hard, the 'k' series were made to be the CPU that allowed you to O.C. with ease.

So if you wish to overclock, get a i5 3570K.

The non 'k' CPUs aren't made for overclocking, only for stock clocks.
