Hey there,

is it possible to have these Card in SLI? I own a Zotac GTX 680 and saw recently a "cheap" EVGA GTX 680 SC. I know, that the EVGA clock rate is a little bit higher then the Zotac. So would this work or would it be unstable?

thanks for any answer and a merry xmas

They will work together just fine.
When combined, the cards will run at the speed of the SLOWER card so before you go SLI, try overclocking the Zotac card to match the EVGA if you want to squeeze the last drop of performance out of the rig.
The system will need a fast CPU to keep them fed with data,
Don't forget, video memory does not add in SLI, you will not have 4Gb but 2x2 Gb so if the monitor/s is/are of a high resolution you may run into memory limitations, especially if large amounts of AA are applied.

thx for the fast answer. Okay, then I will go with that.
My CPU is an Intel i7 3820 @3,6 GHz, I think that should be enough.
Monitor it will be a 27" 21:9 for gaming and a second (23" 16:9) for 3D-modelling
