Hello there! I have been running 4GBs of Patriot PSD34G1600k memory in my build for a while, but with my recent BSOD issues, I've been thinking of upgrading my RAM. I had a 8Gigs of Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL (2x4GB) RAM sticks laying around, so I decided to try my luck with them. When I install them however, my computer will not POST, even with use of the MemOK function. I am relatively new to computer building/troubleshooting problems, so any help would be much appreciated!
Specs:
CPU: AMD Phenom II x6 1090T BE
MOBO: Asus M4A89TD Pro/USB 3
GPU: Sapphire Radeon 5870 1GB

try with the old ram to put on the newest bios to see if your missing updated ram code for the bios.
M4A89TD PRO/USB3 BIOS 3029
Improve system stability.
if there no post try one stick and see if the mb will post. wit hsome ram you may have to up the dram voltages with two sticks of ram. also not all mb like all ram.

google your mb and or email gskill to find out what ram of there would work. if there willing see if they can exchange your non working ram for two sticks that will so the ram wont go to waste.

Much thanks for the prompt replies! This RAM -should- be compatible with my MOBO according to the GSkill website. I shot an email at their support to see what they could do for me though!
