So guys, i just build myself a new rig, with a r9 290. i have noticed that when playing bf4 it runs very smooth on ultra, around 120fps. but when running heavy applications like battlefield, the gpu cooler makes an insane amount of noise. So i kind of want to buy an aftermarket cooler.
After googling i found the arctic accelero extreme III, but i wanted to ask you guys if you know any other aftermarket gpu coolers compatible with the 290 that are quieter and better than the refference cooler? Please let me know!

specs:
Cpu: i7 4770k
Cpu cooler: noctua nh-d14
mobo: msi z87-g45
gpu:sapphire r9 290
ram: kingston hyperx xmp beast 8gb 2400mhz (2x4)
ssd: samsung 840 evo 120gb
hdd: wd black caviar 1tb
psu: seasonic s12ii 620w 80+ bronze

Solution
Until the new coolers come out, the Arctic Accelero Extreme III is the best aftermarket cooling solution. You can wait for brands eg. Asus, MSi, Gainward, etc. but for now, that cooler is the best.

I won't recommend liquid if he's not overclocking hugely. If he is, then I would recommend the Kraken G10 with a 240mm radiator (preferable) or 120mm radiator (less preferable).
