I bought the Asus P8Z77-V Socket 1155 motherboard when I built my PC not fulling looking in it (stupid idea -.-) and I bought the gtx 680 but the gpu only work to its full capability if its in one of the lower slots (the directx slot).
So if I was to buy another gtx 680 and put it into the same slot that my current one was in and didn't work in but SLI them would it still work or would I have issues of the graphics card not being fully used.
This is the issue till I found out it was a very easy fix to just move it down a slot on the Mobo

Like I put in the thread about the AMD gpu I have works fine in all slots on the mobo but my nvidia card only works well in the bottom slot.
The motherboard box also only says crossfire ready and not sli which is why I have the idea in my head that my mobo favors AMD cards over nvidia.
So would the problem occur (slow gpu) if I put another gtx 680 in the top pci slot and sli'd it with my current?
Sorry if its not very descriptive, not sure how to word the question and previous problems. Still somewhat of a novices when it comes to the details of hardware.
