Hey guys, I've got a problem isntalling Win7 from a DVD. The problem is my PC won't recognize it as a boot media. It's starts up an gives me the error message: "Reboot and select a proper boot device or insert a boot media in selected boot device and press a key." I've checked in BIOS and the boot order is CD/DVD driver then HDD. The DVD works on my laptop and the Win7 copy is from MSDNAA. Could it be the problem that I burnt the DVD with 4x speed instead of 2x?

When you say the DVD works in your laptop, do you mean you can actually boot from it or just that you can read the data on the DVD? If you can just read the data, I'd say the problem is how you burned the image to the DVD. If you can actually boot from the DVD on your laptop, then I'd say there is a problem with your DVD drive in your system (it actually is a DVD drive, isn't it?) and you should probably try burning the image at 1x (I've had a similar issue).

Not tried to boot with it, but it's start the Win7 installer. I'll try with 1x speed. Thanks!
