Hello, I would like your opinion on this build:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4430 Haswell 3.0GHz
MoBo: Gigabyte GA-B85-HD3
RAM: G.skill Ripjaws 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600
HDD: WD Caviar Blue WD10EZEX 1TB
PSU: SeaSonic M12II Bronze 620W 80 PLUS
Case: Cooler Master CM Storm Scout 2
LCD: Samsung SyncMaster S19B300B 19"

Is this a good build? Will I have any problems with any of the parts? I am going to buy a GPU later which is SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 OC. For the time being I am going to use the GPU within the CPU. Will I have any issues using the internal GPU with just programming/watching HD videos? Also, is the screen good for gaming and HD videos? I do not need a screen more than 19". Thanks a lot for any feeds you give me.

Thanks for the replies.

sidd, will it make any difference not having a full HD screen? I went to the store and I was looking at those screens for minutes. I thought the 19" screen was big. I am actually used to laptops and 15.6-17" screens. I am not seeing how one can sit in front of anything bigger than 19" unless maybe use the screen as a TV. Thanks.

I have read that having a 19" is great especially with one running games at ultra settings cause the more inches you add to the screen the less fps you get at ultra settings. Is the difference that big between a half and full HD? Thanks.

With an i5 the difference would be negligible. Not sure what price your getting the monitor at, but you can get a 24" full HD monitor for $130.

you are going to get a R9 280X, why settle for anything less than full hd???

as for your fps and screen size thingy....fps does not depend on screen size, but on the resolution.

you will have the same fps on a 100" monitor with resolution 1080p and a 24" with 1080p resolution.

your 19" will have resolution of 1366X768 (about 720p), fps change between 720p and 1080p is hardly differentiable.

Thanks a lot for the replies. I really appreciate it. Seems the full HD is a big deal the way you guys talk about it. I guess I can go 21.5".

I have a choice of:

Samsung SyncMaster S22A300B 21.5 inch
and
LG E2241S 21.5 inch LED LCD

Are either any good?
