Motherboard CPU problem

Hello, i just ordered a new gaming pc, i build it and i ordered a motherboard , and i was confused , there some mother boards support , lga 2011 , lga 1150 and 1155. i dont know what the different between them , and that one i order its was lga 1150, and i dont know if the cpu will work with it or no.

The mother board i orderd is : Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H Series 8. and its lga 1150

please tell me here what CPU's will work great with this motherboard only i7, and tell me what the different between the cpu that with k and without K What the different between them ?

4770 - 4770k would work in that motherboard as far as i7 processors go. the difference is generations and features. LGA 2011 is great for workstation / high end gaming where you have multiple GPU's in like crossfire or SLI. and unless you plan to go with a 6 core and or do video editing i would look else where .. as for the 4770k it scores as good if not better in most benches vs an lga 2011 socket .. as for your motherboard it would require something with the 4000 series sku. LGA 1155 is an older generation and while it performs almost as well differences were like 2 to 5 percent so not a huge difference.

go to pcpartpicker.com and put in your parts and it will tell you if they will be compatable
and a processor with K at the end means it can be overclocked.

LGA 1150, 1155 are socket types on your motherboard where the cpu will go. So you need to make sure your cpu is the same socket as your motherboards.
