So I have an i3 2120 with a powercolor 7850, and I can run battlefield 3 without it ever dropping below 55 fps (i have a 1440x900 resolution) but when I try to play ac3 or ac revelations I get between 40-50 in revelations and below 35 in ac3. Are they that demanding of games, or am I doing something wrong? I also have my card overclocked to the max, so I don't know what the problem is. I play both games on the lowest settings. Also, in multiplayer I get perfect 60fps on both games, so I don't know whats going on.
Thanks

Ah, so it's not the card's fault. Thanks for clearing up this issue. Do you know if its present in the new ac game, black flag?

I have an ASUS GTX 780 DirectCUII OC and an Intel Core i7 4770. I just downloaded AC4 which came with the GTX 780 because of the Nvidia Holiday bundle. I played all the AC games up 'till AC3 on the Xbox 360, and they ran great, no lag whatsoever.

Now for AC4 on the PC.
Because I wanted to see how it'd look like on ultra settings, I tried it out even though Nvidia's GeForce Experience told me not to. The game runs perfectly fine untill you start to run. It's the worst in any urban environment, I even bumped into a wall during a classic AC street chase, because the game suddenly dropped to 10 fps.

Really sad to see Ubisoft doing this, would've liked them to follow the same path as the beloved Bethesda Game Studios. They even recommended Skyrim on the PC, something you won't see Ubisoft doing any time soon.
