Is this a good gaming rig?

I just want to play games like DayZ, Skyrim and Garry's Mod without severe lag. I'd go with a better GPU, but I also wanted to save money with this build too.

Feel free to leave any suggested parts, and thanks for reading!

EDIT: Keep in mind that I already have a hard drive I was planning on using already

More about good gaming rig
  1. The power supply is overkill - you will not need no more than a decent 500w. So instead of the 750w, get a 500w and a better graphic card, a 760 or a 660ti, whatever is cheaper.
  2. You did a great job picking out parts. The only things is that I'm personally not a fan of Raidmax cases. Also if you have any spare money I suggest putting it towards getting a better/bigger monitor.
  3. Your CPU is way too good for your GPU. Upgrade your GPU to something better. I would suggest getting a 660 Ti instead. Also your PSU is overkill. This build only needs 400-450W to put it lightly.
  4. Buy a 550w- v600w PSU and video card 660 from Nvidia , 7870 r9 270 from AMD.
    Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660
    Gigabyte Radeon HD 7870 2GB
    PSU : XFX 550W 80+ Bronze
  5. Nice rig, could save a little by dropping the PSU as mentioned, might look for a deal on a 7850 GPU, prob the next step up

Redid the PCU and GPU. How does this work?
  7. Looks good.
