So Christmas has been and you often get a pocket full of cash, I am in the market for an upgrade to my AMD FX 6300, when I noticed the FX-9370 for £170 i was interested greatly, However how well does this game play games such as Battlefield 4 and DayZ, when my current cpu paired up with a HD 7870 2GB OC and 8GB ddr3 ram will get 40-70 fps on battlefield 4 medium-high settings and DayZ genuinly runs pretty bad. I want no Intel suggestion unless you want to buy me a new mother bored ;), thank you in advance

like usual..
it's better buy a fx8350, and a good cooling like phanteks ph-tc14pe or corsair h100i/h110..
then overclock your processor by your self to reach 9370 speed..
all fx8350 will easily touch 4.4Ghz, and many folks out there even run their 8350 at 5Ghz...

but if you've find 9370 cheap enough (less than $25 difference compared to fx8350), then go for it..
but if it's not, well, it better to buy 8370..

with battlefield 4, 9370 (or fx8350 oc to 4.4GHz) will have a nice boost..dice engine is very amd core optimized..
but in other games, delta perfomance between fx8350 stock clock and 9370 almost negligible..only 1-5fps, except a very cpu bound games (streefighter, torchlight, etc)

Gaming performance is good but you need to check that if the motherboard will support FX 9370 or not... Check on your motherboard's online site for specifications and see if it supports 220W TDP CPU or not? ... as rolli59 said only high end 990FX boards can handle those 220W TDP CPUs... So better do some research before buying...
