Hello! So I'm going to be buying the remain parts for my computer so that I can overclock my computer. However, I have a question about whether or not the following parts will be compatible:

CPU: Intel i5 2500k
GPU: GTX 770

I recently got a Coolmaster Hyper 212 Plus, too. So I'm wondering if it will be compatible with either the Gigabyte LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6 Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7FY/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3P9B67APFC8WO&coliid=I2IS2XXXQK70G1) or the GIGABYTE GA-Z77-DS3H Intel 7 Series Motherboard - ATX, Socket H2 (LGA1155), Intel Z77 Express, 1600MHz DDR3, SATA III (6Gb/s), RAID, 7.1-CH Audio, Gigabit LAN, USB 3.0, PCIe 3.0, CrossFireX Ready (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2276160&CatId=6976).

I would also need a case, right? Can't have everything being clumped up. I was thinking of: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B006I2H0YS/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3P9B67APFC8WO&coliid=I1IE5S3HIURKE5

Anyways, I hope someone wouldn't mind helping me! Would greatly appreciate it! :)

Solution
Yes the Hyper EVO will be fine with those mobos, and the case also will work fine - might look at the HAF 912, which is a little less and a great case - should be happy with it :) Merry Xmas
Just to add, I looked up both motherboards. You have the 2500k and an aftermarket cooler, suggesting an interest in overclocking. Neither board is very strong in that area. You have a gtx 770 and both boards rule out the option to SLI in the future, if that matters to you at all.

Tradesman already answered your primary concern.

I actually don't plan on buying to SLI. As awesome as running two cards would be, I don't have much use for it! Is there a MoBo you would recommend then that would fit my specs? Not really looking to spend over $150 honestly.

they hyper 212 plus and 212 evo are different. but yes the hyper 212 plus will work with all 1155 and 1156 chipsets on any z68 or z77 motherboard. you should have no problem getting at the very least 4.4ghz and have temps well under control on the 2500k.

one of the motherboards you picked is a micro atx size and not the normal "atx" size for the case you picked out.
