5.1 configuration problem

Hi

I have creative SBS 580 speaker which i configured with my C-media onboard sound card,but problem is when i tested all speaker all front and rear speaker is working fine but woofer sound came from central speaker and central sound coming from woofer .
please help me because of this i cant here the sound of any doubly movie. Is there any problem in my speaker or my configuration?

Center and Sub are located on the same 3.5mm jack. Manufacturers can't seem to agree on the placement of the signal lines so they sometimes end up reversed. I've seen some audio control panels with an option to reverse the center and sub signals to correct this. See if such an option exists in your audio control panel.

^That is what I would have said to. If for some reason it does not make sure you have the latest drivers from C-Media since the default Windows drivers may not have the option.

thanks for ur reply but i am using latest driver of Cmdia and i check all websites and the same is installed on my pc I have creative inspire 5.1,when i tested by Cmedia Control panel the woofer sound coming from central and central sound coming form sub. and the same happening with and 5.1 movie . is it possible that issue on my cable setting?
