I have recently updated to windows 8.1. I started up my computer this morning and my hard drive was being repaired for some reason my start icons such as the store and all of my search results have disappeared so I cannot even access control panel however on my dads account of my pc all of the icons are there and everything is fine. I don't know what has happened and anyway to repair it would be greatly appreciated. One last note I have all of my games and icons are still on my pc when I press Windows button and D to get to my desktop.
I think that when my Hard drive was repaired they were deleted.
