I got a new graphics card for Christmas, and in its manual I read that if running multiple cards they have to be in the same family. Does this mean I would have to have both as Asus (or EVGA) cards or will it work since they're both GeForce cards? I also read on another forum that in order to install a new graphics card I would need to uninstall previous drivers, but would I need to do that since they're both GeForce cards?

I tried tying the 2 together via the SLI cable, booted it up but did not get a display on my monitor, whether plugging the monitor into either cards or the motherboard.

The cards have to be the same GPU's and this case they are not, you would need either two GTX660's or two GTX760's to do SLi. You could use the 660 as a PhysX card though.

Take the SLi bridge off and then in the Nvidia control panel set the 660 as the PhysX adapter.

I'm still not sure as to what to do though. I have drivers installed for both cards and when both cards are, and my monitor is plugged into the original, I don't have any display (monitor stays in sleep mode).

I assume your PSU is up to the task?

Apparently not. I put just the 760 in after resetting the CMOS and it booted up to the bios as I expected after further reading.

Thanks for the help!
