Integrated Graphics Do Not Work

Well my GPU (Gtx 760) is out of commission until I get a new one.
Luckily, I have an intel i5 which comes with integrated graphics 4600 or whatever. The problem is, when I turn on my integrated graphics in my bios, (I have an ASUS Z87-a, so ASUS bios), nothing changes. I cannot run windows aero, and I definitely not run any games.

I go to system agent config and switch my initiate graphics adapter to iGPU, but nothing takes effect.

Well, if you have any video without the 760 installed, your igpu is working. If it wasn't, you wouldn't have any graphics capability. Not saying it's a very good solution, but it *is* working.

you need to install the intel drivers for it: go to intel.com and search for the integrated graphics driver. if the monitor shows something then the adapter itself works.

Thanks guys. I'm trying to update my drivers right now but intel's website is a bit of a mess.
It really wants me to use their automatic service to figure out which drivers to install, but it just scans my computer indefinitely.
