first of all, my build is here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2pyGM

So I am building a gaming PC, and I plan on overclocking my CPU, which I will need a better cooler for. I have heard good things about the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, so I that is probably the route I will go. The problem is I've heard that sometimes, an aftermarket CPU cooler will block your RAM slots. Can anybody tell me if this will happen to me? If it will, could someone give me some other suggestions for CPU coolers and maybe other memory?

Thanks in adavance.

id say it's definitely possible.

if i remember correctly, that exact RAM kit BARELY fit under my old hyper 212+; OR, i had to use the secondary RAM slots.

it was using a ASRock Z77 Extreme4 at the time i believe.

if you want to be sure, have a look at this RAM kit: http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-Desktop-Memory-CML16GX3M2A1600C10/dp/B007TG8QRW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1388003932&sr=8-2&keywords=corsair+vengeance+lp
-seems to be the same specs as the RAM kit you picked out, just has a low profile heatsink.
