Hi, You have to connect speakers to the PC for sound.

The PC would not provide sound without connecting speakers to the back audio port.

From your first post:
"when i plug in earphones i get sound"
So, are you getting sound when using the headset?

The sound would not come out of the PC as the motherboard does not have internal speaker connected. You have to connect external speakers.

It has onboard sound (otherwise the headset would not work). It does not have a speaker... let's say onboard.
Not sure how to explain it more than that.
Let's take a radio. For sound, it uses a speaker. It's the same with your board. It needs a speaker.

Yes. Connect them the same way you've connected the headset.
