I have around £2000 (might be able to go a little over) to spend on a build for hardcore gaming, what specification would you recommend?
The rig will be primarily for hardcore gaming (and photo shop/Music production but i would rather keep this out of consideration since the main thing i want to do is gaming)

The primary game i would like to play is skyrim after seeing the amazing things mods can do to the game.

^This is the kind of quality i am hoping to play at :D

I would also like to play all the latest games like Titanfall, Destiny, Battlefield 4 e.t.c...

Any ideas on what specification i should get?

Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB Video Card (£526.79 @ Dabs)
Case: Corsair 650D ATX Mid Tower Case (£136.00 @ Ebuyer)
Power Supply: XFX ProSeries 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (£115.06 @ Aria PC)
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer (£11.98 @ Ebuyer)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 - OEM (64-bit) (£85.54 @ Amazon UK)
Total: £1663.56

I know it's well under budget but I can't justify anything more.

- i7 is overkill for almost any game at the moment
- 16GB RAM is overkill for any game at the moment
- GTX 780ti is an absolute beast. But if you must... the PSU and motherboard support adding another in SLI
- SSD isn't much of a benefit to gaming but simply awesome in general.
- Unlocked CPU + great cooling fan to allow overclocking.
