prices change from your country.. from usa or another countries just like mine...

any pc underthan 1500$ i would say must go for Amd build as price/preformance would be great... if u got alot of cash .. ofc you should go intel

i got amd rig my self and i love it .. with 8350 and 270x

Would you think that the amd would be as 'future proof' as the intel. I came up iwth an intel build for a similar price.

Ive heard bad things about the AMD Fx series, cooling issues and such, i don't mind paying a bit extra for something thats not going to overheat.

Read again...
the Fx series are Unlocked mutliplyers for overclock .. now when you over clock the cpu gets hot ... what they really mean by heating issue is that the overclocking of the cpu tend to be hotter than overclocked intels..

the fx 6300 can be even overclocked to 4.5 GHZ or evenmore and thats something GREAT ... but if u can pay extra money like hmm 150 $ more ... get a cpu like this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116504 it cost kinda more but .. first its AMAZING FOR GAMES...

also it got overclock feature

mix with this board ..http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157295 ....

all another just the same...
