The best card at the top of your budget would be the gtx 770 4GB version. Although the 2GB version would be just as good in most cases. The extra memory will help with higher resolutions, multiple monitors, or to attempt some slight future proofing.

If you can I would suggest the Ino3d GeForce GTX 770 iChill HerculeZ X3 or the Galaxy HOF Edition GTX 770. Those are superior to the MSI N770 Lightning

But also more expensive. I think the MSI Lightning has the best value of the 770s.

really depends.. I found the Galaxy GTX 770 Hof for $379 while the MSI Lightning is $359, yes this is more expensive but you have to take notice of the clocks of the Galaxy GTX 770 HOF and the cooling compared to the MSI Lightning

However I myself am getting the MSI N770 Lightning because I like MSI and their high quality builds, though if you're willing to pay for the more expensive one's I would get em

Actually, on Pcpartpicker, the MSI is $345 and the Galaxy is $388, which is $43 difference.
But yeah, you're right MSI is a very very good brand. I only didn't get the TwinFrozr version because it was completely out of stock in my store, so Asus it was :D

No! do not get the Asus Card. The Direct CU ii crap is useless. It is very good at cooling in idle however when under load it is only roughly 6C cooler than the reference card. I would suggest the Gigabyte, EVGA or MSI

Not cooler than the MSI N770 Lightning which is what I had suggested previously. the Lightning is the coolest of them all and has the highest clock
