Now I should start off with, I do know that it is possible to run an Nvidia and AMD GPU in one system, however I wanted to know if it was possible with my current setup.

I have an ASROCK Z77 Pro3 Mobo with a Corsair GS700 inside.

I currently have a 560 Ti that I use for gaming and at night Crypto Currency Mining (Just for some fun and learning) but I want to get a new GPU to use for gaming and have the 560 Ti doing things like rendering a video, or mining that crypto currency :p

So I was wondering if I could run another GPU in my system, I was looking into the R9 270 so I could take advantage of Mantle when it comes out for BF4 and hopefully some newer games in the future.

Thanks!

You cant run different video cards on your(or anyones) mobo.
Ditch that GTX560Ti....R9-270 or 270X will be much better for mining, gaming or generally everything.
Cheers

If memory serves me correctly you can run two different video cards (this being SLI or Crossfire, I think as long as some sort of architecture was the same it would work but I read it a while ago) also I have heard many AMD Card Users getting Nvidia cards in their systems as well to take advantage of PhysX, I just want to know if my system/PSU can support both the cards mentioned both under full load at the same time. Also I don't want to just up and dump/sell my perfectly good GPU, the best I could probably get is $60-80 at best, plus it has sentimental value, I kinda spilt Mountain Dew on it around 3-5 months ago and after a good cleaning it's worked ever since, I plan to keep it for a good while.
