So I have terrible WiFi signal in my house. I have a 100 Mbs Router (I am upgrading soon) downstairs and a Gbs Switch in my room for my PC. I was wondering if there was someway I could put an adapter on my switch to give me WiFi upstairs for my phone and two laptops. The network set up is Modem > Router > Switch.

It is called a AP. It is a switch with wireless ports in affect. Any router can be made into a AP if it does not have the feature. There is a sticky on this forum but pretty much you disable the DHCP and hook the LAN port to your switch.
