Whenever i try downloading drivers for my intel i5 3570k with intel hd 4000 graphics or my radeon hd 7950 my computer crashes with error SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (igdkmd64.sys). From online searches this seems to be a problem with the intel graphics display adapter but I cannot find a solution that works. It crashes while downloading the update, whether i update through windows update or online manually. Of Course i dont even use the intel hd 4000 so i dont understand the issue. Thanks in advance.

Here is a link to my minidump files if that helps:

dont know, seeing that it accures wile your still downloading it it may be a lan issue seeing that your not able to compleat the down load.. is this a new build or one you have been running awile with no issues what board and os are you running? just downloading to be saved to a file should not effect the system unless the link is broke or there server is down. have you tryed to download it from another trusted site?

you did not tell me what your os is is it windows 7,8.8.1 xp, vista? when you start to download you are checking SAVE and not checking RUN right? and i googled that SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED igdkmd64.sys and ther seems to be a windows 8 issue with running it so if your computer was working just fine and your just updating just to be updating it. i would say just dont do the update [if it anit broke dont fix it]

i dont get it my self if you were to download somthing with around the same file size will it do the same or is it just these two things? but still downloading to save to a file and not opening it to run or install i dont think it should cause a system error. the only thing i can have yiou try is to uninstall the lan driver reboot and see if windows got a defualt driver to run the lan and try it on that to see if it works if it will then we can look at the broadcom driver to be at fualt. do to the lan in use will be a system item.
