Is my Motherboard compatible with GTX 780 Classified?

Hi all,

I'm looking to upgrade my stock Nvidia GTX 670 2GB to a more recent EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 3GB Classified. However, being a noob I just wanted to check with you experts as to whether the new 780 Classified card would be compatible with my MSI z77a G43 motherboard? I don't see why it shouldn't, though I don't want to be disappointed if things don't work out.

Yep, no problem, prob want to ensure your PSU is though, for a 780 I normally suggest about a 600 w/ 42 AMPs on the 12 volt rail or better (this also gives a little extra if you decide to add on things)

Great thanks for the answer! I have a corsair 600w so I should be fine for now, may upgrade at a later date.
