290X or 780ti?

I'm looking to get a new graphics card but i was wondering which card people think i should get. I have been looking to get the 290X because of true audio and mantle because the main games that i play if fifa 14 so either card will be easily good enough, battlefield 4 which will use mantle and dayz standalone which i dont think should perform much differently with either card. I do play lots of other games but those are my most played games. What do you people think i should get? Please take into account the cost, baring in mind that i can get a non reference oc'd asus direct cu II 290X for approximately £30 less than the cheapest reference 780ti so the temps shouldn't be a problem with either card.

personally, I'd get a 290x, mainly because of mantle (not sure when it's coming out an bf4, though). but seriously, it really depends on personal preference. Do you prefer the look of the nvidia cards? In terms of raw power, the 780ti is better. It has better power consumption, and makes less noise. But the 290x has mantle, and is cheaper. The 2 cards are nearly equal, and making a straight distinction between which is better is nearly impossible.

I have only had amd in the past so i cant say whether i prefer nvidia or amd withou being biased but as for power consumption and noise im not really bothered that much by either, although i haven't checked i doubt there will be much difference in power consumtion and i have a h100i with the supplied fans on max at the moment so noise isn't a problem, i will be changing to noctua but i doubt the card will e too noisy if i get an asus dcu II
