Problems with Dell T5400 recognizing SATA 3/4 headers on the motherboard.

I just bought a BluRay dive and when I plug it into SATA port 3 or 4 on the motherboard the OS doesn't recognize it. But if I disconnect my DVDRW from header 2 and plug the drive into that it's recognized no problem.

I am running Win7 32 bit and the motherboard is factory standard but it seems that no matter what I do it will not recognize SATA headers 3/4 on the motherboard.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

I found this solution and feel really stupid for not thinking of it before I did. The SATA ports are controlled from BIOS and all I had to do was enter BIOS setup and switch SATA 3 on!!
