I have a 550w PSU (link here:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...) and I am wondering whether or not this PSU will be able to run this GPU: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E5AEIKE/ref=oh_deta.... Should I get a new PSU? If so, which one should I get?(I have a budget of about $120)

I'd look into getting a different PSU.......one from a quality manufacturer such as Seasonic, XFX, Corsair (except their CX series) or Antec. A good 550W from one of those manufacturers should run your setup unless you are/will be overclocking, in which case I'd recommend something around 650W.

The 12 volt rail amps for your supply is listed as 45.5, and the minimum for a 770 is listed as 41.
Its a bit 'close'.

It would be worse with most 550 watt units, you need a quality 700 + watt psu for that card.

a little bit overkill in terms of wattage, but better PSU than your original

Could I use the GPU until I get the new PSU?

Yes, you can run a 770 with a quality 550w PSU, 600+ should make you feel safer :D

as long as you are not overclocking anything you could probably use the original PSU you listed (if you have it already) with no adverse effect.

I just installed the GPU and the drivers but I am getting high CPU usage in the desktop. Like in the 70%.

This is my CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Higher end GPUs need CPUs with more performance.
I have a phenom 2 6x 1055t with a hd7770 in one of my older PCs, om BF4 servers with 64 players sometimes (if lots of things are happening) my frames drop and soundcard makes crappy noise xD -> CPU bottleneck
You should experience similar fps drops/lag with CPU intense games

Contrary to what some have suggested, the rosewill tachyon is high quality quality psu line. It should be fine for your setup. It MIGHT be a little tight IF you OC the CPU and GPU, but still think it will hold. If it doesn't, all it will do is shut down.
