More about cpu bottlenecked
  1. Yeah, you will need to upgrade the CPU in order to support a 770gtx or the 280x. Sadly, you are at the point of a new build. I had the same CPU about a month ago until I upgraded to a i5. It's not worth the cash to buy a better Core2Quad.
  2. too much card for the cpu, yes......................... the 260 was a dog. if you have plans to buy a new platform in the next year or 2, go ahead and buy one of the gpu's listed. if not, a 2gig 7850/7870 will be more than you have cpu for. .......... been down this road............
  3. Yeah an i5 is on the horizon later in 2014 but hey my gtx 260 was never a dog. So go I go nVidia or ATI(I'm old skool)?

  5. That comes down to personal preference. Both have good cards that will play games very well.
  6. what about mantle?
  7. Well the short story is, it will improve game play in future games and it is currently only available in BF4.
