Right now, I have my i7 3770k overclocked to 4.4GHz.

I see on CPUID that the CoreVID hits <1.27 when it's at 4.4GHz.

Do I still have room to go one more?

When I was at 4.3GHz, temps were below 45..

yeah, you've still got a small headroom (1.35V is the max voltage for 24/7 usage in my opinion) so you can get 4.6 easily with that voltage and maybe 4.7-4.8ghz out of that if you have a good chip...

Make sure you're always keeping temps under 80C in full load (stress test like aida64 and/or prime 95)

What happens if I don't stress test? Cause, I'll never have to go fully loaded.

if you d'ont stress, you'll never be 100% stable, you can load windows at 5.1-5.2ghz with that voltage but you'll get a bsod as soon as you'll load some programs/drivers, etc... If you never had stress tested your rig, start by doing that at your current OC as maybe you're not even stable at that speed/voltage...

also, random crash can cause failure as all crash are related to your non stable rig (if it's the case) i've seen corrupted data, reboot, hibernate, shutdown problems, random lag in game, ram burned out, etc...
