I recently bought an LG 3530a sound bar for my 4 year old 32" LG tv. The sound bar is great and my tv still does a great job, but I have noticed when watching tv as well as video from my laptop that there is about a 1 second lag between the video and audio. (Mouth moves on TV 1 sec later I hear sound). My setup here is hdmi from comcast cable box to TV and then optical from sound bar to TV. I tried watching a movie from my laptop as well which was connected through had I to the tv and then sound was from Bluetooth (I couldn't figure out how to get sound from laptop to TV/sound bar in the hdmi). I also have my wii u and xbox 360 hooked up (hdmi and composite hook ups respectively) and have not noticed this lag yet, although it may just not have sprung out like tv and movies do with delay. Is there any way to fix these things? I have a spare optical cable output that I am going to try to connect directly to the tv box to see if that helps anything, otherwise I am at a loss without going out and buying a newer tv that may solve the problem?
Thanks for whatever suggestions you all may have for me!
