I have had an EVGA GTX 770 SC. It has been working for over a month now, but I got a new motherboard and processor for christmas and after installing those the card just stopped working. I made sure its plugged in (one six pin and one eight) and I disabled the integrated graphics in the bios. I made a video showing everything not sure if it will help. Can someone tell me what to do? I can use the integrated graphics and see the bios with it and my motherboard offers dual bios incase I mess up or one crashes. The motherboard is a gigabyte M87x, the psu is a corsair 750, the cpu is an intel 4770k.
heres the video please help!

I saw the video, your best bet is to make sure that the motherboard was installed correctly. It only takes one incorrectly place standoff to start causing problems. I didn't listen to the video with sound. Do the fans on the card even spin up?

have you tried ONLY using the outputs on the videocard instead of the one on your motherboard and trying only one monitor to start with?

I wouldn't worry about the noise for now. The first thing to do is to make sure you can use the card to power a monitor and see what else is going on.

If you can get the computer to boot, and have it display all your normal things while ONLY using the dvi port from the gpu, then download gpu-z and msi afterburner to check the temperatures, and to adjust the fan speeds if the temperatures are in normal operating limits (50-70 under load while gaming)

If you get nothing from just the video card, then something may have gone wrong during re-installation

Where could I have gone wrong in the re installation? If its just the Gpu?

Is the gpu properly seated in the slot? take it out, blow on the slot, make sure there is no dust or smudges on the connectors that go into the motherboard

You could have also improperly installed the stand-offs that the motherboard sits on (those little gold things)

This was my first and only building mistake so far and it made weird problems arise as the extra standoff scratched the back of the motherboard

Not having a part like that working is a big deal, and can be expensive to fix or replace. If you really care about your pc you will fully disassemble it and check each part individually for scratches on the connectors. Since you can boot the pc just fine using the motherboard connection, i wouldnt recommend taking the cpu out of the socket again as it doesnt sound like that is the source of the problem

I've looked all over the thing. I removed the gpu removed all of the wires and checked for scratches. Any other ideas what it could be? I'm going to try to put it back in the old motherboard and see if that works. Any other ideas?

Put the old motherboard back in. Everything works like a charm. I think I'm going to sell these and just get an ipad or a guitar.
