I built a system today and am now looking to install Windows 7 and progress with my life.

When I boot up my PC it boots straight into the bios because it's freaking amazing. It recognizes two of three boot options. Optical drive and ssd are good to go but hdd isn't recognizes and just makes an awkward buzzing noise.
Help?

Solution
You could get rubber washers to put around the screws that hold the HDD in place, but cant say I know anything for that case in particular.
So the HDD works fine?
Typically when your given a boot order, it clumps HDD/SDD's, optical and anything connected by USB into different groups and asks which of those groups you want to boot from. You have to set within that group which drive is 1st, and then set which group is 1st.

Though if your HDD is just plain not appearing within the BIOS, that leads me to think its defective in some way, especially since your saying its making a buzzing noise.
Can you see the drive in Disk Management within Windows? If you cant I would be inclined to RMA it.

It seems to be quite the odd issue, in my mind. The hard drive is working perfectly fine, the buzzing noise is a vibration in the mounting/case. (Phantom 410). I cut out four Styrofoam pieces and set my case on them and no buzzing noise whatsoever. Would you or any other know a solution to this problem in the Phantom 410?
